In the IEA's ''World Energy Outlook 2011'' report, "()nconventional oil include() extra-heavy oil, natural bitumen (oil sands), kerogen oil, liquids and gases arising from chemical processing of natural gas (GTL), coal-to-liquids (CTL) and additives."
